Role description:
Our Toronto office is recruiting for the next PEY (Professional Experience Year) work term. Our office is located at 55 St. Clair West in Toronto (near St. Clair TTC station). However, we are currently in a hybrid work environment. Our Intelligence Group out of Arcadis IBI Group’s Toronto Headquarters is recruiting for the next PEY work term.
This student position is open to University of Toronto students who have completed at least 3 years of their program. This student will work on various types of projects under the Operations Management Team (e.g. Operational Control Centres, Event Planning and Management, Environment and Sustainability Initiatives, etc.). Candidates will be part of projects related to the application of technology and operational planning in the transportation industry.

Role accountabilities:
Research technology solutions for Smart Cities, communication systems, intelligent roadway or transit systems, including technology strategic plans development Develop functional requirements/specifications and procurement process documents Develop physical, operational, and technological recommendations and strategies Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders Support business development and proposal initiatives Prepare schedules and cost estimates Document and evaluate on-site conditions Potential travel to client sites (if applicable)Join our team as a dynamic team player with exceptional time management skills and a keen willingness to learn and adapt to diverse project environments. Qualifications & Experience:

The salary range for this position is $20-33/hour. The base salary represents Arcadis’ hiring range for this position. Actual salaries will vary and will be based on various factors, such as location, skills, experience, and qualification for the role.
