As an operations manager, you will…

 

Responsibilities and essential job functions include but are not limited to the following: Grow and develop a team focused on high-quality customer service, limited defects and fast resolution. Gathers best practices that can be integrated into the team. Identifies resources to support operations and execution of initiatives. Identifies and provides cross functional leadership for programs and processes. Optimizes opportunities, resolves key issues and identifies creative solutions to enhance service provided to the business unit portfolio. Participates in creation of the strategic plan and annual goals in order to deliver high-quality customer service. Develops and enhances processes and procedures for efficient operations and high-quality customer service. Identifies cost and benefit of potential improvements and manages the implementation of improvements. Utilizes internal metrics and conducts ongoing analysis for continuous improvement. Manages the internal team change management of technology related systems procedures and standards. Collaborates with internal business partners to determine technology and applications to support new opportunities. Determines and negotiates service levels that are quantifiable and measurable. Alerts leadership and business units of potential impacts that would require an adjustment to service level agreements and renegotiate as needed. Reports service levels to clients. Communicates progress of new programs. Provides focus and advocacy for the team’s needs. Responds to and resolves customer service issues.

Progressive experience in retail, sales, operations management 5 years Process mapping and redesign 3 years Project management and cross functional team leadership 3 years

 

Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

Ability to communicate clearly and concisely, both orally and in writing Planning and organizational project management skills Ability to apply sound business principles and practices to project management and change management processes Basic skills in Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint Ability to apply knowledge of multidisciplinary business principles and practices to achieve successful outcomes in cross-functional projects and activities

*If you are working in CA, CO, IL, LA, ME, MA, NE, ND or RI, you will accrue vacation up to a maximum of 120 hours (190 in CA) for roles below director and 200 hours (316 in CA) for roles at director or above.  For roles in other states, you will be granted vacation time starting at 120 hours annually for roles below director and 200 hours annually for roles director and above.

 

The actual base pay offered to the successful candidate will be based on multiple factors, including but not limited to job-related knowledge/skills, experience, geographical location, and internal equity.  At Starbucks, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at the high end of the range for their role, and compensation decisions are dependent upon the facts and circumstances of each position and candidate.
