Sodexo Energy & Resource is seeking a qualified Operations Manager I, Multi-Service for an Oil & Gas client in Houston, TX

The Operations Manager is responsible for managing the safety and daily facilities management activities in Janitorial, Landscaping, Pest Control, Mail-room Services, Event coordination, and Site Services. The Operations Manager is also responsible for, but not limited to, training, onboarding new employees, and project support.
Key Responsibilities:
Fulfills contractual obligations to the client.Supervising a team of 20 or more frontline staff on day-to-day work activities by delegating authority, scheduling and prioritizing activities, and monitoring operating standards.Establishes a safe work environment for employees by providing safety-related training and equipment maintenance and by ensuring compliance with Sodexo safety and loss prevention programs and with standards and procedures for the handling and storage of hazardous materials and/or waste and complies with all government regulationsPlans projects, including defining objectives, methods, timetables, and budget to support client and Sodexo strategic plans.Manages the budget by controlling costs (e.g. labor, inventory, equipment, materials), complying with budget requirements and making adjustments when necessary.Accountable for the execution of service quality by maintaining the highest level of delivery.Promotes and supports workplace diversity initiatives.Experience working in an oil & gas environment is a plus

Qualifications & RequirementsBasic Education Requirement - Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience
Basic Management Experience - 3 years
Basic Functional Experience - 3 years work experience in facilities (e.g., maintenance, plant operations, engineering services, grounds, custodial/environmental, or transportation) or food (e.g., food services or operations, concessions, retail sales, store operations, or vending) services
