Job Summary:
Primary focus will be to service the existing business, operationally and financially, while maintaining relationships with existing customers and developing new business where possible.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities A true Leadership and Difference making positionEnsure quality services are provided to meet customer expectations and contract requirements by regularly managing, directing, inspecting, training, coaching, mentoring, and leading security personnel assigned to the facility/buildingPerform operations related functions to include; scheduling, overtime management, review of daily logs and incident reports, training and development of staffMonitor and develop staff performance to include supervision, performance evaluations, disciplinary matters, training, scheduling, callouts, and assigning workMaintain up to date and accurate timekeeping systems and records for staffProvide recommendations for positive and negative personnel actions for those staff members under his/her direct supervisionProvide immediate response to emergencies and issues that ariseFollow and coordinate established emergency response, action planning and proceduresMaintain 24 / 7 availability and to the customer account(s) assignedOversee the Business Continuity Program, while working in collaboration with all teams to ensure support of business continuity requirements for the company and customer account(s) Management of compliance and regulatory mattersInitiate preliminary investigations into incidentsPrepare reports on accidents, incidents, and suspicious activities, as requiredPrepare required weekly, bi-weekly and monthly manager reportsAssist to lead in the procurement process and maintenance of uniforms and equipmentMaintain professional working relationships with local, state, and federal law enforcement agencies The essential duties and responsibilities may differ by customer location assigned Knowledge and Skill Requirements High School DiplomaMinimum (2) years’ experience of corporate office janitorial operations and manufacturing critical environments.Excellent written and verbal communication skillsExperience with new construction, space reuse and constantly changing space needs.Experience with creating and managing complex budgets.Ability to self-manage daily activitiesMust be flexible with work hours and scheduleTechnical knowledge of all aspects of janitorial service deliveryProficient in Microsoft office CompensationHarvard is offering a competitive salary structure including benefit package with medical, dental, life, and long-term disability (LTD) insurance along with 401K Savings Plan.
