The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing New Product Introduction (NPI) projects, managing our System Integration Partner, and executing strategic commodity purchasing. This role is critical to ensuring seamless integration of new products into our manufacturing processes, maintaining strong relationships with our suppliers and partners, and optimizing our supply chain for cost, quality, and efficiency.Key Responsibilities:New Product Introduction (NPI) Project ManagementLead and coordinate NPI projects from concept through to production, ensuring timelines, budgets, and quality standards are met.Collaborate with cross-functional teams including R&D, Engineering, Quality, and Supply Chain to ensure successful product launches.Develop and maintain detailed project plans, including schedules, resource allocation, and risk management.Conduct regular project status meetings, providing updates to stakeholders and addressing any issues or roadblocks.Ensure all NPI projects adhere to regulatory and compliance requirements.System Integrator ManagementManage relationship with System Integration Partner to ensure alignment with VDURA’s strategic objectives.Oversee the selection, qualification, and performance evaluation of Strategic Partners.Negotiate contracts and agreements with CMs and integrators, focusing on cost, quality, and delivery performance.Lead Operations team to monitor production processes to ensure compliance with VDURA’s standards and specifications.Work with cross-functional team and Strategic Partners, to resolve any production or supply chain issues that arise, ensuring minimal disruption to operations.Strategic Commodity BuyingDevelop and implement strategic sourcing strategies for key commodities to ensure supply chain resilience and cost-effectiveness.Negotiate pricing, terms, and conditions with suppliers, striving for optimal value and long-term partnerships.Monitor market trends and adjust procurement strategies accordingly to mitigate risks and capitalize on opportunities.Collaborate with the finance team to manage budgets and forecasts for commodity purchasing.Qualifications:Bachelor’s degree in Operations Management, Supply Chain Management, Engineering, Business Administration, or Relevant Experience in Operations and Supply Chain roles.Minimum of 7-10 years of experience in operations management, project management, supply chain management, or a related area.1 – 3 years experience with Salesforce and NetSuiteProven experience with NPI project management, including a strong track record of successful product launches.Strong knowledge of contract manufacturing and system integrator management, with experience in negotiating and managing supplier agreements.Expertise in strategic sourcing and commodity buying, with a deep understanding of market dynamics and supplier management.Excellent project management skills, with proficiency in project management software and tools.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to make data-driven decisions.Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with internal and external stakeholders.Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, managing multiple priorities and deadlines.Key Competencies:Leadership and Team ManagementStrategic Thinking and PlanningNegotiation and Influencing SkillsAnalytical and Data-Driven Decision MakingExcellent Communication SkillsAdaptability and ResilienceStrong Organizational SkillsVDURA Culture & Values: At VDURA, we’re committed to transforming data into the catalyst for groundbreaking human advancements. Actual salary range is based on the regional labor market of the role in the geography in which the position is located based on the requirements of the job and your skills.
