Our client, a large logistics company in Swedesboro, NJ, is seeking an experienced Operations Manager to join their team. The ideal candidate will oversee supervisors and team leads, ensuring the accurate and timely completion of all assigned tasks.

Key Responsibilities:

Hold employees accountable and administer disciplinary actions as needed, in line with company policies and procedures.Clearly communicate job expectations and provide coaching to employees.Determine staffing levels and assign workloads to meet operational demands.Perform quality checks to ensure all shipments are processed according to company standards.Organize and maintain the inventory and storage areas for optimal efficiency.Identify quality control issues and collaborate with the team to implement solutions.Achieve high levels of customer satisfaction by ensuring excellence in shipping, receiving, and quality assurance.Measure and report on the effectiveness of warehousing activities and employee performance.Maintain accurate records, document essential information, and utilize reports to monitor warehouse status.Identify areas for improvement and implement innovative work procedures and practices.

Requirements:

Three or more years of proven success in an operations management role.Strong skills in budget development and oversight.Excellent ability to delegate responsibilities while maintaining organizational control of operations and customer service.Experience with SAP is a plus.Familiarity with KPI tracking and SOP development.Proficiency in conflict management and business negotiation processes.Knowledge of business productivity software with a readiness to learn new applications.
