Job Title: Production Planner

Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

·      Develop and implement detailed production schedules to meet customer demands and optimize resource utilization.

·      Work closely with customers to understand their requirements, manage expectations, and ensure timely delivery of products.

·      Utilize customer portals to track order status, address any issues, and communicate updates effectively.

·      Ensure production schedules account for thorough quality checks and compliance with industry standards.

·      Collaborate with various departments, including operations, procurement, engineering, and quality, to ensure smooth and

efficient production flow.

·      Track and analyze production metrics using ERP systems to identify areas for improvement.

·      Implement process improvements to enhance efficiency, reduce lead times, and meet delivery deadlines.

·      Manage inventory levels of raw materials and finished goods to prevent shortages or excess stock.

·       Provide regular updates to customers on production schedules, changes, and potential challenges.

·      Analyze customer demand patterns and work with sales teams to forecast future demand accurately.

Qualifications:

·      Bachelor’s degree in business, Operations Management, or a related field, or equivalent proven experience as a Production

Planner in a manufacturing environment.

·      Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a focus on meeting customer needs.

· Proven experience in working with customer portals and managing customer relationships.

·     Ability to handle multiple tasks and priorities while maintaining a high level of accuracy.

·      Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles is a plus.

·      Experience using ERP Systems (Epicor)
