Operations Manager
The Operations Manager at Arvato manages daily production and distribution activities for the entire facility. The Operations Manager must display a thorough understanding of the customer requisition process, ensuring adherence to safety, quality, reliability, and cost objectives. Additionally, they will be responsible for overseeing the front-end staff involved in this process, necessitating strong leadership and organizational skills to ensure seamless operations. Your Tasks * Monitor and adjust processes to meet production schedules, due dates, priorities, shipping requirements, and handle peak volumes. Recommend improvements to production methods, equipment performance, and product quality, while ensuring compliance with production, quality, reliability, and safety standards. * Provide support and training on company policies to employees. Monitor time and attendance records of direct reports. Develop employees through performance reviews, ongoing training, and by managing the hiring process, evaluations, disciplinary actions, and performance counseling. * Execute all business review preparation, responsible for all action logs and items resulting from business reviews. * Serve as key communication link between operations and all customers. * Create or use existing metrics to verify operation is under control. * Abide by all company safety and hygiene regulations. * Follow and maintain 5S Program and guidelines. * Any additional tasks that may be assigned to ensure an efficient, safe, clean, and goal-oriented work environment * This job description is not intended to be a comprehensive list of duties and responsibilities, the Company reserves the right to change or modify the job description at any time, with or without notice.
