You Are:
The Operations Manager provides leadership to managers and professional staff. Is accountable for the performance and results of multiple sites or related teams. The OP will develop sub-function plans, including business, production and/or organizational priorities and will be a key player for decisions guided by resource availability and segment/functional objectives.
The opportunity:
· The Operations Manager will be responsible, but not limited to:
o Demonstrate comprehensive understanding of concepts and principles within own job family and knowledge of other related job families
o Apply in-depth understanding of how own discipline integrates within the segment/function Leadership
o Manage multiple related teams, sets organizational priorities and allocates resources
o Identify and resolves complex technical, operational and organizational problems
o Impact the business results of a team or area by supporting and funding of projects, products, services and/or technologies and developing policies and plan
o Guide by business unit, department or sub-functional business plans Interpersonal
o Influence others internally and externally, including senior management
This position description identifies the responsibilities and tasks typically associated with the performance of the position. Other relevant essential functions may be required.
What you need:
· The candidate must have a bachelor’s degree with at least 10 years of experience in the following areas:
• Manage the order fulfilment process from forecast, manufacturing slot request, booking closure and shipment for multiple customers or regions
• Escalate to Account Team management as needed to resolve booking or revenue issues
• Report on status of commitments including forecasts, tool issues, ci inspections to Customer(s)
• Initiate customer requested inside lead-time change requests for approvals
• Prepare and execute demand planning reviews; size factory build plan for future customer orders
• Manage employees and budget for multiple customers or regions
• Recommend and implement business process improvements to increase efficiency
• Manage special projects and key customer initiatives as required
