Job Description Faststream is currently looking for a Dry Bulk Operations Manager to join a global Ship Owner/Operator at their office in Hamburg.

Role Overview:
Location: Hamburg, Germany
Focus: Managing dry bulk vessel operations, optimising performance, and ensuring efficient delivery of operational services.

Key Responsibilities:
Voyage Management: Issue voyage instructions to Masters, manage agency appointments, and coordinate bunkering. Laytime and Claims: Perform laytime calculations and handle demurrage claims to minimise delays and maximise profitability. Operational Efficiency: Oversee weather routing and ensure the smooth operation of 8-10 Supramax vessels. Software Use: Utilise IMOS for operational management and reporting. Who We’re Looking For:
Experience: Strong background in shoreside ship operations, with direct experience operating Supramax vessels. Skills: Proficient in laytime calculations, claims handling, and voyage management. Advantage: Previous seafaring experience and knowledge of IMOS software are highly beneficial. What’s on Offer:
