Ferguson is now hiring an Operations Manager to lead business operations in our Garner, NC. location! This role provides leadership for our customer-facing associates and branch functions.
Responsibilities
Champion the development, implementation, and continuous improvement of organizational management protocols, practices, and toolsDrive safety, quality and profitability to meet or exceed company objectivesAct as a strategic partner on the leadership team and liaison among different departments to improve operation resultsEnsure warehouse operation is led with efficiency and successHandle inventory control in our warehouseInteract with vendors to coordinate inventory returnsDouble checking every order going out of the building to ensure 100% accuracy.Working daily on ICPD’s, Discrepancies, Returns, DRR’s, Cycle counts and Negative items.Inventory preparation throughout the year to ensure a smooth and efficient inventory process.Working with the drivers on Pre/Post trips, Lytx camera infractions and coaching them on infractions.Doing Dispatch track daily for the drivers so they can proceed with their runs in the morning.Enter, Approve and Process the facilitation of debitsMaking sure to photograph the outbound loads daily, double checking loose pipe, pallets and bundle accuracy.Direct Supervisor over 14 associates.Check Geotab first thing in the mornings to ensure drivers will be on time.Reviewing the 6Pak inefficient inventory weekly.Making sure sales support associated received their tickets to complete their backorder reports.Confirm that bundle reports have been put into the following days delivery packet.Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree is preferred, equivalent experience will be considered2+ years management / leadership experience coupled with handling inventory / operational tasksWarehouse Management System (WMS) experience is recommendedAbility to adapt and change processes to keep pace with the evolving business requirementsOutstanding organizational and leadership skills to optimally respond to urgent situationsMust be process oriented with good judgment and decision-making abilitiesStrong interpersonal skills and the ability and desire to lead a teamA confirmed understanding of OSHA and DOT regulationsStrong technical skills included but not limited to Microsoft O365 applicationsAt Ferguson, we care for each other. Pay Range:

$4,124.70 - $9,075.00-
Estimated Ranges displayed are Monthly for Salaried roles OR Hourly for all other roles.

This role is Bonus or Incentive Plan eligible.
