Position Summary:
As an Operations Manager for Pyle you will be assisting in daily terminal operations involving P&D, Dock, Line Haul, Office, Recruiting and OS&D Department.
The responsibilities of the position include, but are not limited to:
Ensuring the management of staff is consistent with Company goals and guidelines Developing and maintaining cross-training materials, performance reviews, and ensuring the development of supervisors Monitoring terminal operation statistics and encouraging improvement; fostering a spirit of innovative thinking in attaining goals Ensuring adequate staffing levels throughout terminal Developing, maintaining and improving current processes to ensure security of freight and personnel, while promoting and demonstrating Pyle CultureTo be qualified for this position, you must possess the following:
Previous LTL Transportation experience Previous Management experience Ability to work all shifts as required Computer skills to include MS Office Ability to Lead, Teach, and Mentor staff while enforcing Company Policies Effective communication skillsWhy Pyle?
