Operations Manager

The Operations Manager ensures operational excellence through effective management of staffing, training, inventory control, safety compliance, and systems efficiency. This role focuses on delivering exceptional customer service and support to Area Leaders, using analytical insights to optimize processes and improve productivity.

Reports to: Director of Operations

Salary Range: $70,000 - $75,000

Bonus Target: 15% of annual salary (paid quarterly)

Auto Allowance: Fixed bi-weekly contribution plus monthly variable mileage reimbursement

Key Responsibilities:

Lead and support a team of Area LeadersAnalyze complex datasets to enhance operational processes and client experiencesDevelop and implement budgetary guidelines, monitor spending, and report on financial performanceEnsure accurate scheduling and timecard management for Area LeadersAnticipate staffing needs and collaborate with Recruiting to maintain appropriate staffing levelsDrive internal systems compliance through training and communicationWork with the sales team and Account Executives to ensure client satisfaction and address issuesIdentify opportunities for new services within the assigned book of businessConduct site visits to ensure service standards are metEnforce safety compliance and address safety concernsManage fleet training, maintenance, inspections, and fuel transactionsOversee warehouse inventory to meet current and future needsIdentify and develop potential future Area LeadersManage and complete assigned projects

Qualifications:

High school diploma or GED required; bachelor’s degree preferredMinimum of 5-7 years of leadership experience, including budgeting and reporting. Experience as a General Manager is preferred.Proven track record in implementing effective business remediation practicesDemonstrated success in managing and developing teams through strong leadership and mentorshipProficiency in MS Word, Outlook, Excel, and PowerPoint. Strong analytical skills with experience working with spreadsheets and dataExceptional verbal and written communication skills, along with superior interpersonal skillsAbility to build collaborative relationships with team members and colleaguesStrong project management, organizational, attention to detail, problem-solving, and time-management skillsCustomer service experience and a strong customer service focusBasic knowledge of human resource practices, including talent acquisition and performance managementAbility to make sound business decisions quickly and under pressureSkilled in motivating teams to deliver quality results within tight deadlines

Physical Requirements and Special Conditions of Employment:

Ability to sit/stand while working on a computerAbility to lift/carry up to 50 lbs., navigate stairs, bend, and reach overheadOccasionally work/drive outdoors and in varying weather conditionsAbility to tolerate unpleasant odorsMust possess a valid driver’s license and safely operate a vehicle following local and state rules, as well as company policiesAbility to be on call during irregular hours depending on business needs

The final compensation offered will be determined based on various factors, including the candidate's location, level of experience, and skill set. As such, it may fall outside the range listed above.
