Job Description

The Operations Manager is responsible for all aspects of the day-to-day assembly operations of the company. This is a front-line 'working' position in a fast-paced contract electronic manufacturing environment. It requires interfacing with customers (engineering, program management) and all levels of company personnel in an effective and professional manner.

ResponsibilitiesPlan daily and weekly assembly schedules and allocate resources in cooperation with other department managers, operations department team members, and customers as needed.Oversee manufacturing and process planning, engineering, improvement, and control.Identify required resources, automation, training, and develop special processes as required per customer needs.Meet delivery schedules and stringent quality standards.Oversee, plan, and budget for maintenance, repairs, and replacement of equipment.Identify and procure special tooling, materials, and supplies.Plan for future resources, processes, and related budgeting.Supervise and support all team members within the operations department, including leading and managing their performance.Work closely with the quotation, business development, and other departments to address special needs, engineering challenges, technical/mechanical issues, and interaction with customer representatives.Provide input, metrics, data, and goals regarding the manufacturing operations for weekly management meetings, annual planning, and budgeting processes.Essential SkillsExperience in assembly electronic, supervision, and operations management in a contract electronic manufacturing environment.Knowledge of SMT/soldering and PCB assembly.Experience in assembly manufacturing.Why Work Here?

The pay range for this position is $125000.00 - $125000.00
