Job Description Summary
The Operations Manager is responsible for the management of a team of Business Analysts that support activities in Commercial Loan Services. Maintain in-depth knowledge of business processes and applications supported and stays current in operational trends, product elements, and methodologies within assigned area(s). Manage existing processes along with enhancements to technical or procedural improvements. Manages the support of Vendor Management relationships, Access Reviews, Scorecards and other Commercial Loan Services specific reporting and metrics.
Primary Responsibilities
+ Manage day-to-day responsibilities of the team.
+ Manage projects and initiatives across the CLS team and identify cross impacts and key individuals that need to be involved.
+ Manage Commercial Loan Services specific reporting processes and maintain monthly scorecards and metrics.
+ Represent department as necessary on Department and Bank initiatives.
+ Manage system Access Reviews for assigned applications.
+ Partner with Management and others to solution issues and opportunities impacting Commercial Loan Services
+ Partner with Commercial Loan Services to identify roadmap enhancements.
+ Build strong relationships with business partners.
This is a hybrid position. You must be located near 5555 Cleveland Ave Columbus, Ohio.
Basic Qualifications:
+ High School Diploma or E quivalent
+ 7 or more years’ experience in an banking operational environment
Preferred Qualifications:
+ Bachelors Degree
+ Experience in leading teams (5-10 member)
+ Demonstrated ability to quickly analyze situations and risks and recommend paths of action
+ Self-starter
+ Strong Analytical Skills
+ Critical Thinker
+ Ability to multi-task and manage competing priorities Excellent written and verbal (face-to-face and phone) communication skills including professional grammar and demeanor.
+ Ability to develop working relationships with individuals at all levels of an organization.
+ Experience with programming languages for report writing (examples SAS, SQL)
+ Experience with Microsoft products including Access, Excel and PowerPoint
+ Experience in a financial services operations environment as a business analyst or management role
