The Operations Manager oversee their organization’s production of goods and/or services. They oversee various departments, such as purchasing, warehousing, and manufacturing. They must make sure that their company’s products meet or exceed clients’ or customers’ expectation. They must make sure that their company’s operations run smoothly and effectively. They oversee budgets. Depending on the size of their company, they may be involved in establishing sales and profit goals. They must make sure that their company conducts their business in a safe manner.
They must comply with safety and environmental rules and regulations.
Job Duties and Responsibilities
Duties for this position may include but not be limited to:
Monitor and manage operational costs.
Make personnel decisions regarding hiring, compensation, promotions, discipline and
termination of operational support staff in accordance with company policies.
Manage the day to day companyor department operations.
Other duties as assigned.
Knowledge of sales, operations, and/or underwriting management.
Knowledge of company budget and monthly performance reporting (DVR) proficiency.
Knowledge of applicable state statutes.
Knowledge of all Associa operating systems and programs preferred.
Knowledge of typical business correspondence (grammar, structure, punctuation, spelling, etc.)
at an expert level.
Knowledge of company policies, procedures and forms at an expert level.
Knowledge of conflict resolution techniques at an expert level.
Project management at an expert level.
Self-motivated, proactive, detail oriented and a team player.
Professional customer service skills.
Time management and time critical prioritization skills.
Education and Experience
Bachelor’s Degree Required
Master’s Degree Preferred
7 - 10 years of directly related or closely related experience
5– 7 years of Management and/or Supervisory experience
Certifications or Licenses
Industry Specific Certification
