Hours: Monday-Friday, 37 hours per week- participation in on call weekend rota

InHealth sees more than 5 million patients each year and diagnostic imaging is one of the busiest services that we provide. Our Operations Managers are a vital part of the InHealth team and are responsible for understanding customers’ requirements whilst ensuring the service fulfils our contractual obligations. As a People Manager, you will mentor and develop your team to deliver on our vision to make healthcare better.

As an InHealth Operations Manager, your skills and expertise will provide leadership across the designated region so that we deliver high-quality services at all times. By adopting an approach of continuous improvement, you will deliver efficiencies in line with the budget and never lose sight of patient and customer satisfaction. You will also lead on all operational management of the team and service, identifying new revenue streams and building great relationships with our customers.What you are responsible for:
Ensuring the service delivers the highest standard of patient care whilst meeting customers’ expectations Upholding the requirements of all regulatory standards, holding the position of CQC registered manager for your defined region, and surpassing allocated budgetary targets Managing the rota for the department, ensuring sufficient employee resource availability through effective planning Overseeing all day to day activity across a 7 day service for the team, remaining knowledgeable and up to date on all InHealth’s processes and ensuring a strong understanding of the ‘role of the people manager’ is maintained Designing and delivering structured induction programmes with support from the wider HR team, including a review of the company’s policies and procedures Leading on and being actively involved in any recruitment activity for the department, monitoring attrition rates and workforce planning for future recruitment drives. Developing immediate staff members by providing coaching and mentorship Participating in and leading audits, delegating tasks to the team as required Working closely with the InHealth planning team and clinical sites to allow access for repairs and preventive maintenance, to ensure safe and sustainable services Working closely with other Operations Managers to support each other as required and work together on overall objectives and plans.We are looking for someone who is:
An experienced manager with a proven track record and credibility leading a multi-disciplinary team Educated about CQC requirements, Health & Safety, Infection Control, the Data Protection Act and Caldicott Principles Developed in organisational and time management skills, and able to prioritise conflicting demands Able to turn strategic plans into actions and successful results Proven in the competency of verbal and written communication Computer literate with accurate data entry skills and attention to detail Professional and cooperative in attitude even when under pressure A holder of a valid UK Driving Licence and is flexible when it comes to travelling.You should apply if you have experience:
Working in a clinical setting MRI Radiography background would be desirable Working in a management or supervisory role in a patient focused environment Being involved in the recruitment, attraction and selection process Training and developing staff members to achieve professional development Setting departmental objectives, KPIs and plans.
