Operations Manager

Purpose

To oversee all aspects of Premium Finance and Retail Insurance Agency operations in accordance with company aspirations and ensure compliance with company policies and industry guidelines

 

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

Promote operational excellence in all areas of Premium Finance and Retail Insurance Agency operations, including Mailroom Operations

Ensure existing processes are executed with a high level of efficiency

Identify gaps in processes; develop and implement improvements as required

Provide exceptional support to sales leaders to foster customer growth and retention

Drive employee engagement to promote a winning culture

Lead Premium Finance Call Center in support of the Retail Insurance Agency Sales Team and Premium Finance customer base

Evaluate overall operational performance by gathering, analyzing, and interpreting data and metrics; set performance expectations

Ensure daily, weekly, and monthly operational targets are met

Coach and develop direct reports to maximize growth potential

Oversee daily mailroom operations, including efficient and timely processing, handling, sorting, and distribution of incoming and outgoing mail in accordance with company policies and regulatory requirements; supervise scanning and indexing of incoming insurance documents

 

Qualifications and Education Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance, or equivalent combination of education and experience preferred

5-7 years of experience in insurance, banking, finance, or consumer loan industries required

3-5 years of experience in Mailroom Operations preferred

Extensive knowledge of industry standards and guidelines

High level of proficiency in Microsoft 365 (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook)

Outstanding written and verbal communication skills

Working knowledge of data analysis and performance metrics

Ability to thrive in a high-paced setting, work under pressure, and meet required deadlines

Excellent analytical and organizational skills

Demonstrated ability to lead, motivate, and develop a diverse team
