Job Description

ABM, a leading provider of integrated facility solutions, is seeking a dedicated and skilled Operations Manager to join our team.

The Operations Manager will oversee the daily operations of a Class A office space, ensuring the highest standards of maintenance, safety, and customer satisfaction. This role involves managing building systems, coordinating maintenance activities, and leading a team of professionals to deliver exceptional service. The Operations Manager will also be responsible for developing and implementing operational strategies, managing budgets, and ensuring compliance with all regulatory requirements.

Compensation: $59.40 Hourly
The pay listed is the salary range for this position. An offer will vary based on the applicant's education, experience, skills, abilities, geographic location, and alignment with market data.

Essential Functions:

Oversee the daily operations of building systems, including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and safety systems. Coordinate and manage maintenance activities to ensure timely and efficient service delivery. Lead and mentor a team of maintenance and custodial staff, providing guidance and support to achieve operational excellence. Develop and implement operational strategies to enhance efficiency and customer satisfaction. Manage budgets, including forecasting, tracking expenses, and ensuring cost-effective operations. Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements, including OSHA safety standards and local building codes. Respond to customer requests and concerns, ensuring prompt and effective resolution. Conduct regular inspections of the facility to identify and address maintenance and safety issues. Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless operations and exceptional service delivery. Prepare and present reports on operational performance, including key metrics and improvement initiatives. Perform other duties as assigned. Job duties may be modified at any time.

Minimum Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in facilities management, engineering, business administration, or a related field. Minimum of 5 years of experience in facilities management or operations, preferably in a Class A office environment. Strong knowledge of building systems, including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and safety systems. Proven leadership and team management skills. Excellent organizational and time management skills. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and facilities management software. Valid state-issued driver’s license and clean driving record. Ability to stand and walk for extended periods. Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, as needed.
