Job Description: Operations Manager – Cabinet Manufacturing Responsibilities: * Oversee and track incoming materials from vendors, including hardware, doors, and drawers. * Train and cross-train employees, ensuring high-quality standards in their work. * Assign tasks to employees or teams for completing sections of work orders. * Collaborate with the Operations Director to identify and address potential issues proactively. * Manage and maintain inventory of hardware and consumables; request replenishment as needed. * Provide guidance to the team on work orders, including hardware selection, materials needed, and efficient procedures. * Lead department meetings and company-wide safety meetings. * Monitor team adherence to safe work practices and set performance goals. * Work with the team to: * Ensure projects are assembled, loaded onto trucks, and delivered on schedule. * Confirm products are completed in the finishing process on time and meet quality standards. * Optimize the workflow through CNC and edge bander operations for maximum efficiency. * Periodically review team performance and provide feedback as needed. * Report machinery or equipment issues to the Operations Director for repair or replacement. Required Qualifications: * Proven experience in cabinet manufacturing and installation techniques. * Strong problem-solving skills. * Solid understanding of materials, including wood and hardware. * Experience in leading and managing a team effectively.
