Requirements:
Relevant qualification preferred. Cleaning Industry experience will be preferred (Need to be able to manage and run sites). Must have experience managing a large team of staff. Willingness to travel on occasion to East London. Responsibilities, but not limited to:
1. Cost Management:
Ensure all expenditure related to operational activities such as labour, CAPEX, repairs and maintenance etc. are managed for optimal cost efficiencies in line with allocated annual budget and company approval policies. Identify and eliminate abuse of company resources such as fuel expenditure, chemical purchases etc. 2. Profitability:
Manage labour costs effectively and minimize unnecessary expenditure, and maintenance and repairs of company assets are kept up to date. Ensure contracts are run in line with maximum profitability scales. Ensure new business is secured at viable and sustainable GP margins. Negotiate annual increases with clients. Oversee and review service route scheduling, monthly orders for chemicals and consumables etc. are submitted timeously for approval. 3. Compliance:
Ensure region adheres to all legislated compliance requirements as applicable to various service disciplines and / or sectorial determination, as well as adherence to company policies and procedures at all times. Ensure all Quality Standards are met and adhered to consistently. Ensure all client documentation is kept valid and up to date, such as Service Level Agreements, Operating Procedures, Risk Assessments etc. 4. Quality Management:
Operational Service Delivery - Verify all services are completed as per SLA requirements and attend to and resolve all client complaints. Portfolio Retention - Ensure existing client contracts are managed and retained in line with SLA requirements. 5. Financial:
Debtor Management - Ensure monthly invoicing schedules are kept up to date at all times and monitor that all invoices have been generated. Assist with ensuring client accounts are paid timeously and kept in line with agreed payment terms. Responsible to ensure monthly payroll reporting is up to date and submitted accurately as per company deadlines. Ensure duty rosters for all sites are up to date and timeously issued to staff monthly. 6. Industrial Relations:
Responsible for ensuring all matters involving disciplinary issues such as issuing of warnings, conduct hearings, attend CCMA/Bargaining Council sit downs etc. is handled correctly and not create risks to the company reputation or compliance. Ensure all documentation relating to disciplinary matters are forwarded and communicated to payroll department for safekeeping on employee files. Conduct and document quarterly performance reviews with all key personnel and identify improvement areas and opportunities for skills development.
