UESI seeks a Director of Diving Operations to oversee and support diving operations for projects for both public and private clients in the Baton Rouge, LA region. This position will support our Fort Pierce, FL operations and travel to project sites as needed. The Director ensures the projects meet client specifications, federal guidelines, and safety standards. The successful individual will manage the operations.

Responsibilities:
Manage, hire, and mentor team members, including the Diving Operations Manager, Facilities Manager, and all relative staff. Oversee day-to-day operations of diving projects and coordination activities from the office, including site visits for project kick-offs and oversight. Maintain and track all diving equipment, ensuring readiness for deployment and compliance with safety regulations. Review and track submittals, ensuring compliance with federal regulations and safe diving practices. Work with scheduling teams to develop and maintain detailed project timelines. Manage accurate cost-tracking reports for all diving-related projects, including the invoice process, preparing, submitting, and tracking payment applications. Document all project deliverables, including submittals, schedules, budgets, and compliance logs. Assist with preparing progress reports, managing change orders, and conducting risk assessments.Qualifications:
A Commercial Diver with at least 10 years of experience in Marine Construction and Commercial Diving is required. S. degree in Construction Management or a related field. Knowledge of federal construction regulations, diving processes, and safety standards. Proven ability to lead and manage teams. Extensive experience with leading day-to-day operations, with attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently with a fast-paced team. Knowledge of project management software such as Microsoft Project, Primavera, and Excel. Ability to travel to project sites is required. Ability to obtain and maintain security clearance, if required.
