Our client in Mississauga is seeking a highly experienced and strategic Operations Manager with a strong background in CPG, logistics and retail. This role is designed for someone ready to be groomed into a director-level position, taking on a key leadership role within a service-driven organization

Director of Operations Job Responsibilities: Work with the President to develop and execute operational plans. Manage departments to deliver top-tier fulfillment and operational services. Oversee resource planning, ensuring optimal staffing and effective workload delegation. Monitor budgets, identifying opportunities to boost productivity and performance. Drive continuous improvement to enhance client satisfaction and company success. Lead special projects and ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements. Generate reports, analyze data, and share insights to inform data-driven decision-making. Create and maintain business process documentation. Manage organizational data and oversee quality assurance, compliance, and KPI results. Build strong partnerships with vendors and suppliers to maximize quality, performance, and value. Monitor and manage vendor contracts, performance, and KPI compliance. Manage, coach, and develop a team of managers and individual contributors across various functions. Manage performance, feedback, and development plans for assigned teams. The successful candidate has: University degree or equivalent combination of education, training, and experience. Experience with third-party logistics (3PL) would be highly advantageous for this role. 5+ years of managerial experience in operations. Strong understanding of service-driven industries and distribution. Advanced proficiency in Excel. Experience with project management, ERP, financial software, reporting tools, and other business software. Strong business and financial acumen. Compensation and benefits: The discussed salary range ranges from $125 000, $140 000 depending on experience Comprehensive benefits package Hybrid work model A fantastic corporate culture, where people are valued for their contribution.
