Operations Manager – Evernorth Workplace Care - Clearwater FL
Responsibilities:
Work directly with Operations Director that supports the overall client management to assist with management of clinical and office staff and have shared responsibility for day to day operations per our contractual agreements and scopes of service.
Work with Operations Directors to develop key strategies and enhancements of services to continuously drive improvements/ operational excellence, efficiencies and margin expansion for the business.
Responsible for monitoring revenue generation and operational expense management, ensuring operational excellence of the budget, Key performance indicators and performance guarantees in the client’s contract.
Work in a strong matrix relationship where Evernorth Workplace Care supports in the hiring and management of clinic's professional staff.
Work with Evernorth Workplace Care and Evernorth Legal to ensure compliance in states with the Corporate Practice of Medicine Prohibition.
Support The Cigna Group Account Managers and Evernorth Workplace Care as the Onsite liaison.
Ensure Contract Compliance and Performance Guarantee results.
Assist the development of departmental annual budgets and 5 year forecast.
Identify opportunity to enhance existing relationship with the addition of new EWC Onsite services.
Work with Biometric / LMP partners for delivery of services.
EWC client interface representative, working directly with the assigned Cigna Group Account Managers
Ensure all assigned clinics meet or exceed all State, Federal and regulatory requirements.
Develop close working relationship with National and Middle Market supporting regional EWC growth opportunity.
Monitor existing business/operational processes for improvement opportunity.
Implement compliance /operational/financial/clinical/quality policies and procedures.
Provide effective leadership for all employees by establishing open communication, mentoring, training guidance, and articulating clearly defined goals and objectives.
Work with Evernorth HR and Talent Acquisition in developing a recruiting and retention strategy.
Works closely with Operations Director, internal and external Matrix partners to ensure alignment with organizations goals and direction.
Travel for operational site visits (travel estimated at 40%).
Qualifications
Experienced Healthcare professional (strong preference for a Nursing degree) with at least 3 years of Healthcare Management or an MBA with 5 years of healthcare management experience.
Experience managing in a profit and loss business environment.
Experience working in a matrix organization
Strong project management skills
Client facing /strong presentation/communication skills
Management experience in healthcare delivery
Experience working in an entrepreneurial/innovative organization.
Experience managing a diverse employee group
This role is based in the health center.
