OPERATIONS MANAGER AT PRIMEFLIGHT

The Operations Manager is responsible for overseeing all aspects of airport operations, ensuring efficient and safe airport functioning. This role involves managing a team of operations staff, coordinating with airlines and airport authorities, and implementing operational procedures and policies. The Operations Manager also plays a crucial role in crisis management, responding to emergencies and operational disruptions effectively. Additionally, this position requires continuous analysis and improvement of operational processes to enhance efficiency and passenger experience.

 

RESPONSIBILITIES

Serves as full owner of all maintenance strategies and plans; focused on meeting business needs Executes effective PM and work order programs using predictive and preventive technologies Has a pulse on day-to-day operations to understand priorities Actively promotes a safety culture and creates strong partnerships with business partners to foster an environment where safety is embedded into everyday practices Ensures maintenance team members are meeting performance KPI’s Provides measurable performance expectations and holds team members accountable for delivering the goals Regularly evaluates the development opportunities of the team, and provides a plan for success Human capital & resourcing strategy to build the talent pipeline for skilled maintenance craft May be assigned other duties as required

 

QUALIFICATIONS

18 years of age or older Eligible to work in the United States Must have a valid state-issued driver’s license with an acceptable driving record Bachelor's degree is not required but preferred  Minimum of 5 plus years of general maintenance/mechanical experience including electrical, control systems, etc A minimum of 5 years of demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to motivate a team Strong leadership and team management skills Ability to read, write, speak, and understand the English language, to include documents  Ability to access and interpret information in print and electronically, including the use of adaptive technologies or methods as necessary Effectively communicate both in-person and through electronic means Eligibility to acquire needed credentials and clearances (FAA, TSA, Port Authority, U.S. Customs and U.S. Postal- as applicable) Ability to work any day/shift, including holidays, within a 24/7 operation Must have a valid state-issued driver’s license with an acceptable driving record
