Operations Manager II - MultiPro Property Solutions

As the Operations Manager reporting directly to the Branch Manager, you will play a crucial role in overseeing the service operations of our Branch, which provides a multitude of make-ready, add-on, and renovation services for our multi-family clientele.  You will be responsible for effectively managing and coordinating qualified independent contractors, ensuring productivity, maintaining quality control, prioritizing safety, and ensuring client satisfaction.

In this dynamic role, you will analyze and optimize operational procedures and business processes, continuously seeking opportunities to enhance our operations. Your expertise will contribute to winning profitable proposals, acquiring new clients, and expanding our market share within existing accounts. Achieving high client satisfaction and meeting annual revenue and gross profit targets will be among your key responsibilities.

To excel in this position, we seek a growth-minded professional with a sharp business acumen and a proven track record in managing multiple departments to maximize productivity.

Working alongside a team of Field Service Managers and Field Service Coordinators, you will actively collaborate with our clients' property managers, maintenance managers, and staff, fostering strong partnerships to drive revenue growth for the Branch.

Salary Range: $90,000 - $100,000

Bonus: Target bonus is 15% of annual salary (divided and paid out quarterly)

Auto Allowance: You will be eligible to participate in an auto reimbursement program that provides a fixed bi-weekly payment and a monthly variable mileage reimbursement allowance.

Responsibilities:

Manage and oversee the overall operations of the Branch including hiring and training of branch staff; updating, and ensuring the daily schedule needs are being managed & completed in a timely and satisfactory mannerEnsure client satisfaction through promptly and effectively addressing questions or concernsWalk jobsites to ensure service compliance to client requirements, ensuring Field Service team members do the sameEnsure proper safety protocols and procedures are being metBuild and maintain quality relationships with new and existing clients, ensuring frequent communication with clients through site visits and responsiveness to questions and concernsWorks with Branch Manager to identity and select qualified independent contractors on an ongoing basisWork efficiently with the office team and field personnel to provide exemplary customer serviceSell and bid all service offerings to meet Branch goals and supervise the Field Service Manager’s to do the sameProvide coverage for Field Service Managers, as neededIncrease the efficiency of existing processes and procedures to enhance the company’s internal capacityPerform other related duties and special projects as assignedRecruit and assist in onboarding independent contractor networkRecruit, select, train, assign, schedule, coach, counsel, and manage branch staffRun a safe workplace and report all safety incidents in a thorough and timely mannerWork closely with Divisional Management to set and/or implement policies, procedures, and systems and to follow through with implementationOrganize work and determine resources and requirementsIncrease the efficiency of existing processes and procedures to enhance the team’s delivery of services

Qualifications:

AA Degree required; Bachelor’s degree preferredMinimum of 7 years of proven success in an operations management roleCustomer service and people management experience requiredBilingual (English/Spanish) strongly preferredProposal building and sales experience preferredExperience with multi-family properties or managing light construction projects preferredStrong skills in financial reporting review and managementProven success in managing and developing a team through strong leadership and mentorshipExcellent project management skillsProficiency in conflict management and customer negotiation processesAbility to perform effectively in environments with frequent workload changes and competing demandsExceptional verbal and written communications skills with superior interpersonal skills and the ability to interact with a variety of audiencesProficiency in MS Word, Outlook, Excel and PowerPoint and ability to adapt to technology platformsMust have a commitment to service excellence with a friendly and positive attitudeAbility to work independently with minimal supervisionExcellent work ethic, integrity, and accountabilityStrong organizational skills, and ability to multi-taskAble to work with cross-functional teams within the organizationBasic knowledge of personnel policies including hiring, interviewing, and terminatingAbility to make sound business/operations decisions quickly and under pressureAbility to motivate teams to deliver quality services within tight timeframes

Physical Requirements and Special Conditions of Employment:

Ability to operate company vehicle in a manner consistent with local and state rules and regulations and company policyAbility to lift up to 50 poundsAbility to walk distance of our client properties, including up/downstairs, bend at waist and/or knees and lift arms at/over shoulderAbility to work outdoors and be exposed to hot and cold temperaturesValid driver license and good driving recordFlexibility to be available during irregular hours depending on business needs

The final compensation offered will be determined based on various factors, including the candidate's location, level of experience, and skill set. As such, it may fall outside the range listed above.
