WESTFIELD BEER GARDEN
Located at The World Trade Center the successful individual will be responsible for running and managing a Beer Garden pop-up concept for Westfield. The pop-up will be located on T2 Plaza which is the external site bounded by Church St, Fulton St and Vesey St. The Beer Garden offers breathtaking city views while relaxing and unwinding in a unique, outdoor setting. The Beer Garden was established in partnership with Westfield and Legends where guests can enjoy premium beverages, light bites and live entertainment.
THE ROLE
The Operations Manager reports directly to the District Manager and is responsible for supporting all Food, Beverage operations.
QUALIFICATIONS
The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor’s degree with a minimum of four years of food and beverage and/or event management experience. Detail-oriented and extremely organized with the ability to multi-task and delegate duties when necessary Ability to interact with all levels of management Excellent written and verbal communication skills and the ability to prioritize in a deadline-oriented environment Customer Service oriented Must be punctual and dependable Proficient with Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint Experience with Scheduling preferred Knowledge and effective operations of retail POS including procedures and policies Ability to perform under pressure effectively for extensive periods of time while maintaining professionalism Must be available to work extended hours such as nights, weekends, and holidays as business needs require Practice safe work habits, follow all safety policies and procedures and regulations, complete company-wide safety training and additional job specific safety training Must have or obtain NYC Food Protection CertificateCOMPENSATION
Salary Range $70,000-$75,000
Commensurate with experience, and a generous benefits package that includes: medical, dental, vision, life and disability insurance, paid vacation, and 401k plan.
