Business Manager - Commercial&Operations

Your role and responsibilities

In this role, you will oversee all aspects related to operations in local business of BIW , Automotive in Robotics China. The scope includes Technical Sales support, Project Management & Control, Project Engineering, Solution Technology, Procurement, Quality & Customer Experience. Ensure strict adherence within the opera-tions to the policies and required standards of health, safety and integrity. • Develop business action plans for the local BIW business operation team aligned with global & local BL strategy and targets. Monitor implementation and track any deviations for corrective action. • Prepare annual budget, oversee progress, and determine actions to cost issues as necessary in order to manage operations within the budget and resources.• Provide Strong support to Sales staff to improve understanding of customer requirements to win the order identify both potential constraints and solutions to these requirements from an operational point of view. • Drive the organization to the high level of operational performance with function collaborations in local & global BL.• Create an environment and effective processes which are responsive to meet customer expectations on quality, service levels and lead time and has a full understanding and culture of continuous improve-ment behaviors, methodology and processes. • Evaluate and recommend allocation of resources necessary in projects across local segments.• Maintain compliance with health, safety and environmental regulations including utilization of safety equipment and guarding, Right-to-Know program, and minimization or elimination of hazardous mate-rials.• Create and maintain a positive work environment. Hire, guide, motivate and develop direct and indi-rect subordinates with HR support.

Qualifications for the role

Degree in Mechanical, Mechatronics, Control and Automation or Industrial Engineering related. Solid management experience in operations and project management in Automotive or automation industry. Proven experience in a multi-cultural context within a large organization. Knowledge of financial reports, operating budgets, problem solving techniques. Demonstrate a strong customer orientation and a strong collaborative spirit. Strong multi-stakeholder management. Open for change and result oriented. Agile and proactive profile with good communication, influencing, coaching and leadership skills.
