The Warehouse Operations Manager oversees a group of Team Managers, Supervisors and Warehouse Associates by serving as a point of escalation and overseeing the team’s daily operations.  The manager will act as a liaison between the Sales and the Warehouse departments by delegating work to appropriate staff based on the needs of our customers. This position reports directly to the Sr. Warehouse Manager. 

This position is required to report to the SHI Piscataway NJ office location as determined by SHI management.

Includes but not limited to:

Manage the receiving process for the Date Center Factory (DCF)Manage the put-away process for inventory at the DCFManage small parcel receiving (FedEx/UPS/DHL) and LTL receiving (Freight) at the DCFManage scheduling LTL Deliveries at the DCFManage the order printing process and delegation of workload at the DCFManage the picking process for the DCF to ensure orders are picked in a timely manner and staged correctlyDelegate daily shipping-related requests/tasks to team members at the DCF Manage the processes of the shipping and picking departments on the weekend by ensuring systems and tools are up to date and the workload is being delegated appropriatelyUtilize company reports to determine workload scheduling and to evaluate employee performanceEnforce policy and procedure with staff and follow up with disciplinary action when requiredAct as a liaison between the team and senior management, providing updates on progress to ensure that all picking and shipping-related tasks are prioritizedComplete employee performance evaluations, address personnel issues and manage shiftsConduct research to determine the root cause of any item discrepancies, such as lost or missing productsAssist Senior Leadership in interviewing, hiring decisions, and employee terminationsInventory replenishment for floor order picking Qualifications Associate's degree or equivalent work experienceMinimum 3-5 years’ Warehouse experienceMinimum 2-4 years Leadership experienceMust be able to communicate (verbal/written) in English Required Skills Ability to operate a computer and navigate in a Windows based platformStrong understanding of SHI Integration Center Processes, Policies, and ProceduresManagement/leadership skills Ability to work efficiently and effectively in a fast pace environment while meeting all deadlines Ability to assist in hiring decisions and pick quality candidates Ability to recognize workflow issues Ability to manage small and large groups  Ability to take direction and follow instructions Ability to be detailed oriented Ability to complete tasks with accuracy and efficiency  Ability to work independently or part of a team Ability to show initiative to complete tasks without direct instruction Ability to understand and apply management feedback Ability to demonstrate professional attitude Ability to multi task and prioritize work Excellent communication skills(written/verbal)  Excellent troubleshooting skills Excellent organizational skills Proficient in Microsoft Office Word, Outlook, Teams and Excel 

Preferred Qualifications/Skills: 

Knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics AXHazmat certified  Unique Requirements Overtime and weekend work are available, and may be required throughout the year This position is expected to frequently bend, lift, walk and stand for extended periods of time Position requires the ability to move or lift up to 50lbs  Additional Information The estimated annual pay range for this position is $50,000 - $100,000. The compensation for this position is dependent on job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and market location and, therefore, will vary from individual to individual.
