Title:
Operations Officer - TS/SCIKBR is seeking highly motivated Operations Officers to support our Government customer’s challenging operational requirements in the Washington Metropolitan Area. An active TS/SCI with a polygraph is required.
Ideal candidates have experience with spotting, assessing, developing, recruiting, and handling non-US citizens with access to foreign intelligence vital to US foreign policy and national security decision makers. Successful candidates must be adept at building relationships based on rapport and trust using sound judgment, integrity, and the ability to assess character and motivation. Experience addressing a highly diverse and dynamic set of intelligence requirements on country- and region-specific issues, as well as transnational issues such as counter terrorism, counter proliferation, and cyber is essential.
Minimum Qualifications:
Must possess the ability to obtain and maintain a TS/SCI clearance and polygraph at the time of applicationBachelor's degree and at least 9+ years of relevant professional experienceServed in multi-year assignments in a variety of overseas locations.Must have successfully completed training in the foundations of clandestine operational tradecraft via classroom training, practical exercises, and on-the-job experience gained through a series of interim assignments. Responsible for quality assurance review of assigned project.Strong briefing and writing skills as well as the ability to work well with teams or individually with minimal supervisionRegional and/or functional expertise in a geographic region of interestInitiative, creativity, technical excellence, and strong interpersonal and communication skillsSelf-starter who can multi-task and remain calm under pressure with the ability to work both independently and in a groupPrior experience in supporting intelligence operations or familiarity with the Intelligence Community and its objectivesINCLUSION AND DIVERSITY AT KBR
