Operations Program Manager (DIR)
**Operations Optimization and Enablement (OOE)** OOE is a newly formed team designed to drive change and implement Operations strategy. Operations is helping to lead the Citi transformation agenda by rapidly scaling programs of work which will redefine core operations architecture and the processes they support. One key element of the OOE is **Movement of Funds** – This team plays a crucial role in managing and refining risk associated with movements of funds – covering outgoing, incoming, and internal transfers. Focused on defining a clear payment risk appetite, consolidating and reporting payment risks as a unified entity, and harmonizing controls across the enterprise. Approach includes developing a cohesive framework for risk management and reducing reliance on detective controls by implementing proactive measures. By addressing these areas, the aim is to streamline processes, enhance financial stability, and ensure consistent, effective operations throughout the organization. **Key Responsibilities:** + Establishment of movement of funds risk and portfolio governance + Undertake detailed planning of implementation steps including conversion strategies, go-live and operational readiness, run-book definition and execution. + Provide program management consolidation, governance, progress tracking and issue identification and escalation across operations footprint; participate in overall program governance. + Model best practice program execution and promote standardization and consistency across wider operations organization. + Undertake specific program management disciplines and activities e.g. Lead prioritization and status meetings and reporting, maintain program documentation, provide updates at senior forums. **Qualifications:** + 12-15 + years of experience: + Leadership & Effective communication + Strong Stakeholder Management to ensure cross collaborative buy in + Proficiency in negotiation to resolve conflicts, reach consensus and manage expectations. + Problem solving to address challenges and obstacles that arise during implementation, identifying solutions and making informed decisions. + Experienced leader building and fostering a collaborative team environment, promoting teamwork, trust, and mutual respect. + Decision making - decisive & data driven to provide clear guidance and alignment. + Adaptability: Ability to navigate the team through ambiguity and embrace change + High emotional intelligence to navigate the team through a complex matrix of stakeholders. **Technical Skills:** + 12-15 + years of experience: + Domain expertise: Across Operations and Finance functions and tools. Expert knowledge in end-to-end transaction lifecycle process. + Change management: Large, complex implementations and transformation program expertise in finance and or operations. + Data Migration: Extensive knowledge in migration techniques and tools to ensure seamless transition of data from legacy to new GL platform. + Process Improvement: Extensive knowledge of process improvement with a track record of streamlining operational or finance process. + General ledger Expertise: good understanding of GL, systems, their functionalities, and best practice implementing. + Business Knowledge: Knowledge of both Markets and Banking products from transaction booking to cash settlement and controls therein. + Vendor Management: Experience in managing software vendors and 3rd party consultant teams. + Strategic Thinking: Ability to align operational process with organizational strategies, with experience in strategic planning and execution.  **Education:** + Bachelor’s/University degree, Master’s degree preferred \#operationsoptimization ------------------------------------------------------ **Job Family Group:** Operations - Core ------------------------------------------------------ **Job Family:** Operations Project Management ------------------------------------------------------ **Time Type:** Full time ------------------------------------------------------ **Primary Location:** New York New York United States ------------------------------------------------------ **Primary Location Full Time Salary Range:** $170,000.00 - $300,000.00 In addition to salary, Citi’s offerings may also include, for eligible employees, discretionary and formulaic incentive and retention awards.
