The operations and project lead will play an important role within the global BRP communications team. In this role, you will be the go-to expert for ensuring operational excellence and driving continuous improvement in the way the team operates.
You will work closely with the communications leadership team and collaborate with cross-functional teams to streamline processes and optimize workflows. You will also manage projects and drive the successful execution of different communication initiatives and corporate events that align with both team and business goals.
Reporting to the chief, president's office and communication projects, this position is designed for a proactive, strategic thinker with a passion for operational excellence, a track record of driving change, and the ability to connect the dots across complex initiatives.
YOU’LL HAVE THE OPPORTUNITY TO:
Operational efficiency and continuous improvement:
Streamline processes to enhance the communications team’s productivity and make sure it is operating efficiently.
Identify, implement and maintain new tools, technologies and processes to continuously optimize communications team workflows and performance, and ensure the team is at the forefront of trends and best practices.
Drive initiatives to foster a culture of ongoing improvement and learning, and organize engaging team meetings, training sessions and recognition activities.
Regularly evaluate team operations, gather feedback and make recommendations to help the team thrive and carry out its mission.
Develop and maintain a structured, user-friendly file organization system.
Project management:
Plan, organize, execute and oversee projects from concept to completion, ensuring timelines, budgets and quality standards are met.
Contribute to the planning and execution of different corporate events and visits, in our offices and/or in the field.
Data-Driven Insights:
Collaborate with the team in charge of strategic planning to create comprehensive dashboards to track communication performance metrics, monitor KPIs, and provide actionable insights that inform decision-making and improve outcomes.

At least 7–8 years of experience in a communications, operations, or project management role (with a focus on global teams or complex, multi-faceted projects).
Fluent in English and French (both written and spoken).
A proven ability to manage projects, budgets, and resources effectively.
Proven experience in driving process improvement and implementing best practices within a team.
A strategic mindset with a high degree of analytical and business acumen.
Exceptional problem-solving and critical-thinking abilities with a knack for identifying opportunities for improvement.
Expertise in PowerPoint, Excel, and standard project management tools.
Excellent interpersonal skills.
Highly organized, results-oriented, and able to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
A high degree of ownership and initiative, with a strong ability to follow through on complex projects from concept to completion.
