A key objective of the leadership team is to elevate the business processes, controls, and automation across all ICF-managed utility programs, standardize them to the extent practicable, and create a culture of proactive risk management and continuous improvement. Reporting to the Energy Program Operations Lead, the Energy Program Operations Senior Manager will be a key contributor to this strategic effort with a focus on using advanced analytics and process automation to drive efficiencies and improvements.

What you will be doing:

Creating dashboards and/or reports for monthly and quarterly progress reviews with UPS leadership Researching, developing and deploying tools to identify and mitigate program risks Evaluating the design, operating effectiveness and continuous improvement of business processes and controls Identifying improvement opportunities and collaboratively defining future state processes with applicable teams Working with the IT Team and/or others to define, test, and implement automation requirements Creating and maintaining process documentation, including manuals, policies, flowcharts, and other job aids Coordinating with regional Program Operations managers and analysts to ensure adherence to protocols and support new initiatives Assisting Program Managers in managing relations with vendors and/or partner organizations Managing and coaching team members  Supporting program start-ups, relaunches, and expansions to drive consistency in program designs and operations and alignment with best practices from audit findings, IT/AI developments, etc. Working with IT, Reporting and Analytics, and Program Management teams to identify opportunities for and utilize machine learning to drive efficiency and reduce risk in our business Ability to travel quarterly to team/client sites (continental US travel only) 

What we need you to have (minimum qualifications): 

Bachelor’s degree in, Business, or related field (or applicants can substitute one year of related experience for one year of education)7+ years of experience in operations, continuous improvement, or similar field 2+ years of experience in data analysis and process automation 

What we would like you to have:

A passion for strategic program operations to facilitate growth at division, portfolio, and team levels Knowledge of the utility and energy efficiency, demand response, and distributed energy resource programs and markets Advanced analytical skills and experience with Power BI (or similar data visualization tool) Experience with advanced Microsoft data software such as SharePoint Lists and Power Automate. Certifications related to operational excellence (PMP, Six Sigma, etc.) 

Professional Skills: 

Advanced MS Excel experience and skills Data visualization skills Strong business acumen and decision-making skills Strong communications and interpersonal skills including courtesy, professionalism, and a cooperative attitude Ability to work with all levels of internal staff, as well as outside clients

Pay Range - There are multiple factors that are considered in determining final pay for a position, including, but not limited to, relevant work experience, skills, certifications and competencies that align to the specified role, geographic location, education and certifications as well as contract provisions regarding labor categories that are specific to the position.

The pay range for this position based on full-time employment is:

$105,353.00 - $179,101.00
