Operations Senior Manager - Lockbox

About this role:

Wells Fargo is seeking an Operations Senior Manager to serve as the Philadelphia Lockbox Site Manager to lead production teams composed of multiple functional areas at our Philadelphia Operations site. In this role you will manage exempt managers and non-exempt staff across a 24/7 environment.

In this role, you will:

Manage and develop teams of individual contributors and managers in roles with moderate work complexity and risk in the Operations functional areaWork with more experienced management to develop and execute business strategiesIdentify and recommend opportunities for process improvement and risk control development within the Operations functional areaImproving efficiencies by having a proactive approach in ensuring resource allocation aligns with the budget and department goalsDevelop and implement business unit strategiesProvide expertise for technical, operational and processing functions related to business unitDetermine appropriate strategy and actions of Operation management functional team to meet moderate to high risk deliverablesInterpret and develop policies and procedures for functions with moderate complexity within scope of responsibility across business lines or functional areasCollaborate and influence all levels of professionals including more experienced managersLead team to achieve objectivesEngage and influence stakeholders, internal partners and peers associated with the function or affected by its outcomesManage allocation of people and financial resources for OperationsDevelop and guide a culture of talent development to meet business objectives and strategy

Work Schedule:

Ability to work shifts between 7:00am - 5:00pm or until the work is completeAbility to work schedule that could vary between Monday - FridaySchedule subject to change based on business need

Required Qualifications:

6+ years of Operations experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education3+ years of management experience

3+ years of experience managing managersAbility to interact with all levels of an organization; including senior managementLockbox experienceBanking operations experienceExcellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skillsExperience handling customer service escalationsExperience managing and leading larger operational groups with direct and indirect staff reporting upAbility to read correspondence accurately and be able to provide a written responseAdvanced Microsoft Office skillsAbility to motivate staff to prioritize work, meet deadlines, achieve goals, and work under pressure in a dynamic and complex environmentStrong organizational, multi-tasking, and prioritizing skillsStrong analytical skills with high attention to detail and accuracyAbility to motivate and provide performance feedback to staffAbility to manage initiatives involving process improvementsExperience successfully collaborating with others in a change driven environmentExperience working with internal and/or external auditors
