Operations Senior Manager - Lockbox

In this role, you will:

Manage and develop teams of managers and individual contributors in roles with moderate work complexity and risk in the operations functional areaWork with more experienced management to develop and execute business strategies.Identify and recommend opportunities for process improvement and risk control development within the operations functional areaImproving efficiencies by having a proactive approach in ensuring resource allocations aligns with the budget and department goalsDevelop and implement business unit strategiesProvide expertise for technical, operational, and processing functions related to business unitDetermine appropriate strategy and actions of Operation management functional team to meet moderate to high-risk deliverablesInterpret and develop policies and procedures for functions with moderate complexity within scope of responsibility across business lines or functional areasCollaborate and influence all levels of professionals including more experienced managersLead team to achieve objectivesEngage and influence stakeholders, internal partners and peers associated with the function or affected by its outcomesManage allocation of people and financial resources for OperationsDevelop and guide a culture of talent development to meet business objectives and strategyLead your team with integrity and create an environment where your team members feel included, valued, and supported to do work that energizes themAccomplish management responsibilities which include sourcing and hiring talented team members, providing ongoing coaching and feedback, recognizing, and developing team members, identifying, and managing risks, and completing daily management tasksEnsure proper engagement and communication is in place for all team members across all shifts/daysEnsure all control processes are followed across the team.Actively engage with peers to share best practices.

Required Qualifications:

6+ years of Operations experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education3+ years of management experience

Experience managing managers in a fast paced, production environmentExperience leading others in a 24x7 processing environmentExperience within Banking Operations, specifically with Lockbox, payments, transaction processing, or logistics/supply chain leadershipExperience driving and leading organizational change in a dynamic environmentExperience handling customer service escalationsExperience executing transformational strategic plansAbility to interact with all levels of an organization, including senior managementExperience collaborating with technology partners.Experience working with internal and/or external auditorsExperience recruiting, inspiring, developing, coaching, and motivating team members through balanced leadership with a focus on team member engagement, retention, and performance managementAbility to lead staff in prioritizing work, meeting deadlines, achieving goals, and working under pressure in a dynamic and complex environmentAbility to motivate staff through performance feedbackAbility to remain flexible and adaptable during times of ambiguity and changeAbility to manage initiatives involving process improvementsExperience using process improvement methodologies, such as Lean Six SigmaExperience designing, managing, and prioritizing tasks and responsibilitiesExcellent written and verbal communication skillsAdvanced Microsoft Office skillsOrganizational, multi-tasking, and prioritizing skillsAnalytical skills with high attention to detail and accuracyExperience successfully collaborating with others in a change driven environment
