Estimated hourly base pay:
$38.00(minimum) - $47.50(midpoint) - $57.00(maximum)

Are you ready to make your mark? If you’re an Operations Specialist, we have an exciting opportunity for you!
The Operations Specialist 3 (Level 3) reports to Operations or Technical Leadership. The position supports production from a technical standpoint and has an excellent understanding of the product being produced in the area. It is the first line of defense and/or consultant to Operations Specialists regarding production related issues. The position is consulted by engineering regarding new product and process implementation. It solves difficult manufacturing problems and works with members to implement process and product improvements.
What you will be doing…
Develops new cells, improves flow, increases velocity, and reduces waste
Leads 5S events regularly
Collaborates with engineers to resolve production issues and performs Root Cause Analysis
Recommends and implements process improvements for new product introductions and existing manufacturing processes
Identifies mistakes and improvements on manufacturing documents and provides redlines to engineering
Writes and releases new work instructions and revises existing ones
Trains and mentors Operations Specialists and other members on manufacturing processes
Evaluates new tooling for application to current designs
Recommends and implements revisions to increase production or improve standards
Dispositions standard nonconformance's (i.e. QNs/NCRs/ATRs)
What we are looking for…
Preferably holds an associate’s degree or international equivalent
High School Diploma or international equivalent is required
5+ years of experience as an Operations Specialist or similar external role is required
Advanced communication skills to all levels of the organization including customers and/or suppliers
Advanced understanding of six sigma tools and lean principles
Advanced troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
Advanced computer skills including Excel, Word, SAP, WISE, PLM
Able to manufacture complicated parts or assemblies with preliminary drawings and operate complicated test or manufacturing equipment
Strong GD&T knowledge and able to interpret complicated schematics or drawings and identify mistakes
Has specific knowledge in automation, machining, or manufacturing & assembly processes
