Operations Supervisor

**Position Overview**
The operations supervisor reports to the Regional Distribution Manager and is responsible for the distribution functions supporting the Fujifilm business groups (e.g. - FNAC-GSD, FNAC – ID, FNAC – EID, FNAC – IPD, FNAC – DSS, Fujifilm Electronics and Fujifilm Medical Systems). The key functions include inbound/receiving, stock put away and SKU management, order processing, quality assurance and outbound/shipping.
Approximately 10-15 employees report to the operations supervisor. This oversight covers a multi-shift operation with staggered start times.
The operations supervisor reinforces Fujifilm’s leadership values by transforming the distribution area into a customer focused, proactive operation that will help drive Fujifilm’s business.

**Job Description**
**Responsibilities**
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following:
Supervises the distribution and warehousing activities in a multi-shift operation including employee staffing & supervision, equipment reliability, safety & quality assurance, operating procedures, shipping compliance and budget control. Reviews/improves process efficiencies through effective team collaboration. Has in-direct responsibility for third-party operations working within the DC environment. Instrumental with executing the goals and objectives of the Operations Manager and Regional Distribution Manager.
+ Supervises, coordinates, provides leadership, and reviews the work of associates.
+ Reviews operation performance including safety & quality assurance, shipping compliance to internal &external customers, and develops corrective action for improving performance.
+ Estimates personnel, equipment, and space needs. Schedules & assigns work to meet shipping plan.
+ Evaluates & recommends and/or implements changes in methods and procedures.
+ Leads problem solving and process improvement efforts and coordinates project work.
+ Recommends candidates for employment and termination. Conducts performance appraisals and is responsible for application of standards & procedures. · Gathers data and provides required reporting to OM/RDM.
**Required Skills/Education**
+ High School diploma or equivalent
+ Minimum 5 years of skill/experience in warehouse leadership (coordinator or equivalent)
+ Excellent communication skills. this includes electronic, verbal and written
+ Effective internal and external customer relations
+ Proven track record of being a high performer and contributor in meeting company/department goals and objectives
+ SAP LES, WMS. Or other ERP WH systems
+ Problem solving abilities
+ Physical inventory control including cycle counting and physical inventories
+ Leads problem solving and process improvement efforts
+ Key member of project work
+ Experience in large amounts of SKU’s
+ Proficiency in all Microsoft Word and Excel
**Desired Skills**
+ Thorough product and process knowledge of all HLUS Divisions
+ Proficient in all Microsoft office products
+ Train- the-trainer for powered industrial trucks
+ Experience working with Hazardous/Dangerous goods
+ Previous experience with e-commerce technologies ( SC, IMS, EDI and EFT)
