WHAT THIS ROLE WILL DO
Reporting to the Operations Manager:
+ Oversee and assist with venue setups for events
+ Efficiently manage and organize emails, staff schedules, and communication workflows to enhance productivity and streamline operations across the team.
+ Monitor the labor cost of the shift, paying close attention to forecasts
+ Checking accuracy of labor system at the end of the shift
+ Maintain appropriate atmosphere (lights, sound level, room temperature, cleanliness, line of sight, table maintenance, room capacity)
+ Conduct operations with a Guest First mindset
+ Manage tasks for opening, ongoing, and closing operations.
+ Conduct daily pre-shift in an upbeat and motivational manner
+ Finalize all event reports once the event concludes.
+ Conduct safety, cleaning and maintenance walk-throughs – interior and exterior of building
+ Check ticket counts throughout the event
+ Promote effective communication and organization between departments
+ Any additional tasks assigned by the operations manager, or general managers
WHAT THIS PERSON WILL BRING
Required:
+ (State or County Licensee or Certification Requirement)/ Responsible Alcohol Awareness Training Certification or Equivalent
+ High school diploma or equivalent
+ Availability to work late hours, with flexible scheduling on weekdays and nights.
+ Proven strength in team management
+ 3 years supervisory experience in high volume restaurant/music hall environment
+ Knowledge of Microsoft Office software
+ Knowledge of state, federal and local liquor laws and health code regulations
+ Ability to deal with intoxicated guests in a positive and safety minded manner
+ Tolerance of all cultures, music and art forms
+ Excellent time management skills and performs well under pressure.
+ Skilled in decision making, leadership, guest relations, interpersonal communications, organization, team building, time management, and staff management
+ Ability to motivate staff, problem solve, lead, delegate, follow up, deal with volatile situations with tact and confidence
Preferred:
+ At least 2 years’ experience within the live music environment
+ College diploma in related field
Physical Demands/Working Environment:
+ Working environment is fast paced, often loud and stressful
+ Position requires extended periods of prolonged standing and working on your feet
+ Must be able to lift or move up to 45 lbs. using proper lifting techniques
