Overview

The PBM Operations Support role performs a variety of tasks in support of the Pharmacy Benefit Management (PBM) department. This will include both daily tasks and strategic projects. This position would be ideal for someone that has some pharmacy and insurance experience

Responsibilities Performs general administrative functions in support of the PBM teamProactively notifies network pharmacies (LTC/SNF/ALF) of patient election to hospice and the medications covered/not-covered for each patientEnsures patient eligibility is accurate within the OnePoint Patient Care processing systemAssists with calling Long Term Care facilities to verify pharmacy providing hospice medicationsAssists with various questions from network pharmaciesEnsures hospice patients medications are being billed properly through the hospice benefitAssists with special projects as required, including, but not limiting to census auditsCommunicates insurance changes to network pharmacies during new customer transitionsAssists with providing already established fees to contracted network pharmaciesAssists with preparing network agreements for the Provider Services teamConducts job responsibilities in accordance with the standards set out in the Company’s Code of Business Conduct and Ethics, its policies and procedures, the Corporate Compliance Agreement, applicable federal and state laws, and applicable professional standardsTo perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorilyThe requirements listed above are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability requiredEach essential function is required, although reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions Qualifications

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE
• Currently in High School, Graduated or equivalent
• Experience in Operations Support II role or equivalent recommended
