Operations Support Lead - Filling

Actual compensation will depend on a candidate’s education, experience, skills, and geographic location.  The anticipated wage for this position is

$25.60 - $42.67

The Operations Support Lead for Filling will play a critical role in integrating performance efficiencies in the daily tasks.  They will be a central focal point that will be primarily on the floor support to work cross functionally with engineers, technicians, and information technology (IT) to improve processes and procedures for operations personnel. They will participate in investigations and own CAPAs related to procedure updates and MES updates.

Key Objectives/Deliverables:

Responsible for maintaining a safe work environment, working safely, and accountable for supporting all HSE GoalsExcellent interpersonal, written and oral communication skillsStrong attention to detail which translates in SOP authoring, developing training tools, and improving user interface in MES or HMIs.Ensure consistency of operations across shifts through active engagement on the shop floor and through Gemba walks and Practice vs. Procedure evaluations.Participates and/or lead cross functional teams in the development and implementation of strategies associated with the area for the following initiatives: Continuous Improvement, Root Cause Analysis (RCA), Failure Modes Effect Analysis (FMEA), Operational Standards for Supply Chain Excellence (OSSCE).Identify changes required for electronic batch records (MES) and ensure they are implemented consistently with operational practices.Work with EWM, IDS and Master Data Team to support launch and ticket builds and process order releases.Power user for PMX upgrades in order to write and test scripts accordingly.Develop, administer, and maintain instructor led courses for operator improvement and deployment of consistent processes.Understand and influence the manufacturing control strategy for their area.Development and monitoring of metrics for the areaAid in issue resolution, batch/product approvals, and production schedule execution.

Requirements (Education, Experience, Training):        

High School Diploma or equivalent.Experienced as a technician/operator in a pharmaceutical manufacturing environment.Experienced with computer programming languages, or database architecture.Must be flexible to attend meetings or support off-shifts (operations is 24/7).Must be able to work a shift schedule requiring weekend and night shift hours.Ability to travel up to 10% of the year for development and network support for sister sites.
