Operations Support Specialist

We are looking for an Operations Support Specialist to join our Group and support our Automation Instrumentation team members in driving World Class Excellence within our Level & Pressure facility. Within Level & Pressure, we utilize state-of-the-art production techniques and manufacturing technologies to ensure the quality of the instrumentation produced, as well as the safety of employees and the environment.
What is the role about?
This position is responsible to partner with the different departments it supports and provide proactive business assistance. The position requires the ability to balance and adapt by absorbing responsibilities from managers and others with the goal of providing increased productivity and efficiency for all team members.
Which tasks will you perform?
You will:
Provide operational support to Pre-Production, Production, Engineering, Supply Chain, and Facilities. Compile, visualize, and report information and data. Operate with a continuous improvement, solutions-driven mindset. Assist in the creation, documentation, and revision of operational processes and procedures. Work on multiple projects at once including testing, modifying, compiling, and executing concepts to advance Change Management. Collect, analyze and interpret company data to assist in making effective business decisions. Assist Controlling and Operations with account reconciliation such as credit cards. Function as a communication conduit between the shopfloor and leadership Construct and appropriately distribute effective, accurate, and timely communication. Maintain physical & digital filing system for records, reports and other documents. Support calendar management by arranging schedules & meetings Provide administrative support in preparing meeting agendas, coordinating facility & catering accommodations, recording and transcribing minutes of meetings. Serve on Events Team Additional duties as assigned
What do we expect from you?
You:
A Bachelor’s degree in a business-related field along with two (2) to five (5) years of experience in an operations support function within a manufacturing environment and/or equivalent combination of education and experience. Function as a self-starter capable of prioritizing own work Capable of making decisions in the best interest of the company Work with minimal supervision Knowledge of Lean operations, improvements, and problem solving Ability to identify and resolve problems in a timely manner Ability to read and comprehend instructions, short correspondence, and memos Capability of communicating clearly and concisely in both written and verbal form at multiple levels of the organization Advanced level competency in Microsoft Office programs Ability to adapt to changes in the work environment Experience with SAP or similar software (preferred)
