Your Role:

 The Operations Team Lead (Distribution) plays a pivotal role in overseeing the daily operations and activities within the distribution center environment. Responsibilities involve leading a team of associates, ensuring efficient workflow, and maintaining a high standard of productivity and safety.

 

Key Responsibilities includes:

Lead and supervise a team of distribution center associatesProvide guidance, training, and support to team members to ensure they perform their duties effectivelyFoster a positive and productive work environment, promoting teamwork and collaboration.Oversee daily operations on the distribution center floor, including receiving, picking, packing, and shipping processesMonitor workflow and adjust staffing levels as needed to meet productivity goalsEnsure adherence to operational procedures and safety standardsImplement and maintain quality control measures to ensure accuracy and efficiency in order fulfillment processesConduct regular audits and inspections to identify and address any quality issuesAssist in managing inventory accuracy through regular cycle counts and reconciliation activitiesCoordinate with inventory control teams to ensure proper stock levels and minimize discrepanciesTrack key performance metrics (KPIs) related to productivity, accuracy, and safetyAnalyze performance data to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions as necessaryCommunicate effectively with management, peers, and other departments to coordinate activities and resolve issuesCollaborate with logistics and transportation teams to ensure timely and efficient distribution of goods

 

Physical Attributes:

 

Lift and move heavy objects (up to 50 lbs) and stand for extended periods of timeWork in a warehouse environment with varying temperatures and noise levels

 

 

Who You Are:

Minimum Qualifications:

High School Diploma or GED2+ years in a distribution center or warehouse environment2+ years in a leadership or supervisory role

 

Preferred Qualifications:

SAP or Oracle experienceStrong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and coach a diverse teamExcellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced settingKnowledge of warehouse operations, including receiving, picking, packing, and shipping processesFamiliarity with inventory management systems and software (e.g., WMS)Understanding of safety regulations and procedures related to warehouse operations
