Are you a self-starter who possesses integrity and a willingness to learn and improve?  Do you enjoy working in a plant environment?  We are seeking an entry level Operations Technician at our Chandler, AZ plant.  Our Chandler facility has 6 ASU plants, 2 liquefiers, and a Nitrogen pipeline delivery system.  Your responsibilities include the day-to-day safe operation of the plants and the site’s systems/equipment along with aligning with all EH&S standards to achieve a zero (0) lost time injury record within their area of responsibility, and to perform work duties in accordance with Quality Systems Manual procedures, safety policies and site-specific requirements. The operator is also responsible for monitoring the daily production processes to ensure quality, cost and production goals are met. Candidates will be required to meet training requirements and successfully pass scheduled validation reviews.
 

Role and Responsibilities:

Monitor and adjust plant process conditions using various valves and operating equipmentMaintain and electronic logbook of operation activitiesFixing plant process upsets using various indicators and DCS trendsCalibrate/Operate multiple process and pipeline analyzersHandle daily routines to include water treatment, equipment inspection, and log sheet readingsPerform preventative maintenance tasksMaintain online training program requirementsIssue safety work permits and perform lock out / tag out of various process equipmentFill trailers and support the product load lineInspect all work areas on a continuous basis for any mechanical problems, safety hazards and unusual operation conditions. Keep work and supply areas in a safe, clean and orderly condition

Physical Requirements:

Must be able to climb ladders, steps, lift up to 50 lbs. and work in all weather conditionsBe available during mandatory call-in requirements as neededThis is a safety sensitive position

Education and Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalentBasic computer proficiency and software knowledge, including Microsoft Word, Excel, and OutlookPrevious work history and/or military experienceElectrical, instrument or mechanical maintenance experience a plusAbility to read/understand piping and instrumentation drawings a plusExperience with personal computers and/or DCS systems
