Operations Technician (3rd)

Job Overview

As an Operations Technician, you will perform tasks and duties related to the preparation and setup for the coating of aerospace products, while maintaining a high standard of safety and quality. Technicians must work safely, be detail oriented, able to work on multiple tasks concurrently, and always maintain the highest quality standards. Responsibilities

· Operate equipment including but not limited to grit blaster, waterjet, and degreaser according to training, process documents, and 5S standards

· Prepare parts for aerospace coatings

· Attention to detail is required to ensure that aerospace quality standards are maintained

· Adhere to safety expectations, and recognize and report any unsafe practices or work conditions

· Regular and predictable attendance is a requirement and essential function of all positions

· Assist maintenance in the troubleshooting and correction of equipment malfunctions or repairs, and reporting any faults to management and maintenance

· Complete all required documentation, tracking, and required signoffs

· Visually inspect parts and report concerns to management

· Performs other duties as assigned

Qualifications

· High School Diploma or GED required

· Manufacturing experience is a plus

· Must be able to read, comprehend and understand work instructions as well as technical specifications

· Must be able to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure

· Capable of lifting up to 40lbs

· Frequent standing, walking, bending, reaching, hand and finger manipulation, occasional stooping, crouching, and climbing
