Level 1: Estimated hourly base pay: $18.73 (minimum) - $23.41(midpoint) - $28.09 (maximum)
Level 2: Estimated hourly base pay: $20.92 (minimum) - $26.15 (midpoint) - $31.38 (maximum)

Woodward is seeking qualified machinists to join our team at the Loves Park Campus in Loves Park, IL. This position is on 1st shift and will be responsible for repair work on servo valves. What You Will Be Doing
Performing repair work on servo valves, ensuring repairs meet all customer and company requirements and specifications.
Conducting tag and various inspection checks using equipment such as calipers, micrometers, gauges and optical comparators.
Executing deburring, surface grinding and honing and lapping operations to remove excess materials
Operating Haas Lathes, including loading programs, performing tool offsets and making necessary tool changes.
Reading and interpreting blueprints, work instructions and Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T) to verify tolerances and specifications
Using various computer programs including Microsoft and company systems to document findings, operations and any non-conformances.
What We Are Looking For
Level 1:
High school diploma or equivalent required
Previous machine operations experience is strongly desired
Strong mechanical aptitude preferred
Level 2:
High school
1 or more years of experience in a similar role (honing, grinding, deburring, etc.)
