Finishing Cell Operator

Onsite - Day Shift - 4 AM - 2 PM

Purpose of Role: Work on metal cast assemblies and prepare them for use. The successful candidate has a proven record of success in the application of production systems in any type of manufacturing environment. Excellent attendance is crucial for team to achieve success.

Key Responsibilities:

· Safety First: Demonstrate 100% commitment to our zero harm behaviors in support of our drive towards developing a world class safety culture.
· Focus Area: Use adjustable table mounted grinder to grind castings
· Focus Area: Execute and sustain performance relative to established processes, safety documents, and work instructions
· Focus Area: Attention to detail
· Focus Area: Use belt sander, hand grinding tools, and dimensional gages to fit adapters, points and stainless sleeves.

Job Knowledge/Education and Qualifications:
- Previous experience using grinding tools or equivalent preferred, but not required
- Must be or be able to become fork lift certified

- Ability to use full face respirator

- Working Environment: Steel foundry with exposure to heat, noise, and dust; Will frequently be required to lift/carry and push/pull up to 50 pounds.

Compensation: From $22.00 per hour
