JT4, LLC provides engineering and technical support to multiple western test ranges for the U.S. Air Force, Space Force and Navy under the Joint Range Technical Services Contract, better known as J-Tech II. JT4 develops and maintains realistic, integrated test and training environments and prepares our nation's war-fighting aircraft, weapons systems, and aircrews for today's missions and tomorrow's global challenges.
RANGE POSITION DESCRIPTION
Our team is seeking a skilled and experienced Senior Operations/Test Analyst who thrives in a dynamic, fast-paced environment. As a Senior Operations/Test Analyst, you will be multi-faceted and will directly influence our business's technological advancements.
Key responsibilities include collaborating with cross-functional teams to design, develop, and implement RF software solutions. You will play a critical role in formulating innovative ideas and implementing these into our product offerings. In addition, you will conduct comprehensive performance analysis, testing, and troubleshooting of RF systems and software.
You will also be responsible for handling and operating various RF test equipment and instrumentation, ensuring they are used appropriately and maintained correctly. This will involve developing software interfaces and procedures for instruments, optimizing their use, and providing troubleshooting and maintenance support as required.
Test operations will be executed in a control room environment, requiring you to work in close collaboration with customers, government engineers, and teammates. Your ability to communicate effectively, handle complex instrumentation, and adapt to changing situations will be vital in this setting.
In collaboration with hardware engineers and technicians, you will integrate software and hardware components, ensuring seamless operation and optimal performance of CEESIM systems. This critical work will involve solving complex technical challenges and will require a high level of problem-solving capability.
As a source of technical expertise, you will be expected to support cross-functional teams, including RF Engineers, Hardware Engineers, and Systems Analysts. This will require excellent technical communication skills and the ability to translate complex information into understandable concepts for various customers and non-technical personnel.
Lastly, you will conduct regular calibrations of RF and CEESIM related equipment as part of routine maintenance and preparation for testing procedures. Attention to detail, mastery over RF instrumentation, and adherence to safety protocols are vital in this aspect of the role.
REQUIREMENTS - EDUCATION, TECHNICAL, AND WORK EXPERIENCE
Completion of technical training and at least 14 years of related experience; or an Associate's degree and 11 years of related experience; or a related Bachelor's degree (engineering, math, computer science, or physics) and 8 years of related experience; or a related Master's degree and 6 years of related experience.
The incumbent must understand concepts, principles, and practices of engineering and analysis to enable the employee to serve as a technical authority on projects relating to the specific programs. The position requires knowledge and skill sufficient to apply the latest developments in technology to solve problems in the specialty area. The incumbent must maintain excellent communication and analytical skills and working knowledge of computer systems and integrated software application programs. The incumbent must possess a valid, state issued driver's license. Must be able to obtain and maintain security clearance up to Top Secret with Special Access. Must be a U.S. citizen.
SALARY
The expected salary range for this position is $92,164 to $129,209 annually.
