The Cage Operational Trainer is responsible for providing educational support and learning opportunities by assisting with the preparation, presentation, facilitation, monitoring, evaluating and documenting of training activities for the organization. 

Responsibilities

Where You'll Make an Impact 

 

Facilitating new hire orientation and employee development training programs. Offering specific training programs to help team members maintain or improve job skills. Delivering group and individual instruction and training. Presenting information, using a variety of instructional techniques and formats such as role playing, simulations, team exercises, group discussions, videos and lectures. Formulating training outlines and determining instructional methods such as individual training, group instruction, lectures, demonstrations, conferences, meetings, and workshops. Must be physically present to work a regular, reliable, and predictable work schedule in accordance with business demands, and maintain a consistent and regular attendance record. Organizing and developing, or obtaining, training procedure manuals and guides and course materials such as handouts and visual materials. Providing administrative functions necessary to deliver and document training programs. Evaluating effectiveness of training and development programs and utilizing relevant evaluation data to revise or recommend changes instructional objectives and methods. Arranging communications about new courses, development programs and training events. Organizing training updates and changes when needed. Maintaining team member training records. Tracking and reporting on compliance training requirements. Establishing and maintaining relationships with external training vendors. Participating in the recruitment of volunteer trainers as appropriate. Fill-in as a Main Banker / Supervisor when necessary.   Measure and monitor guest service progress against established Live! Service Standards. Perform special projects and other responsibilities, tasks, or duties as requested. 

 

Skills You'll Need to Succeed 

 

Attention to detail and follow-through Self-motivated and assertive with a can-do attitude Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook) Organizational development experience is a plus Teaching and facilitation skills Excellent verbal and written communication skills in order to promote a positive and professional image. Must be able to assess learning capabilities, develop training strategies, track desired training objectives and results. Exceptional organizational, time management and problem-solving skills  Qualifications

A Few Must Haves 

 

Bachelor’s degree in related field At least one (1) year of training experience Must be able to comply with all state gaming regulations, which may include obtaining a license.
