Operations Training Professional (Table Games)

Pay Rate: $68,000.00 - $69,500.00 Annually| Monday-Friday| 9:00AM-6:00PM

Job Purpose or Objective(s): Responsible for assessing multiple training programs to all employees in the table games department including blackjack and poker.  The Table Games Trainer will be a dual position, as when you are not training you will be a shift manager at the Choctaw Casino Resort and will have the authority as shift manager during training classes. You will report to the Training Manager.

Primary Tasks:

1.       You will ensure a trained staff to protect the Casino and maximize customer service, Audit/Inspect work of                        employees to ensure standards are met.

2.       Work with Managers in the Table Games department to develop training programs.

3.       Review Gaming operations and make recommendations for adjustments.

4.       Maintain security/procedures according to rules.

5.       You will develop methods and processes for training.

6.       Develop, plan, and implement casino promotions.

7.       Implement corrective/preventative actions.

8.       Develop training for new hires, staff, and incumbents to perform job tasks.

9.       You will immediately resolve customer/employee/management concerns.

10.     Perform other duties as may be assigned.

 

Requirements:

·        Bachelor’s degree or 4 years directly related experience

·         General computer application proficiency.

·         Must be knowledgeable in multiple areas of the operation for training staff and supervisors, auditing/inspecting               work, and identifying areas for improvement.

·         Excellent oral or written (legible) communication techniques.

·         Ability to work any days or hours.

·         Prior management experience.
