**Job Title: Operator 1, Manufacturing** **Job Description** Department: Assembly Essential Functions: Operate processing and packaging equipment. Equipment includes: balances, labelers, band sealers, pumps, filtration systems, and other packaging equipment. Weigh, measure, and check raw materials with the assistance of a computer interface to ensure batches manufactured contain proper materials and quantities. Calibrate/operate semi-automated and automated manufacturing equipment. Perform in-process sampling and testing to ensure batches meet specifications. Comply with all company safety regulations and procedures. Complete and maintain Quality Records in compliance with regulatory requirements, GMPs, and standard operating procedures. Maintain equipment and lab room to ensure proper operating conditions and cleanliness requirements. May be required to perform other related duties as required and/or assigned. Position exercises judgment within defined procedures and practices to determine appropriate action. Normally receives general instruction on routine work, detailed instruction on new assignments. Job encounters recurring work situations with occasional variations from the norm, involving a moderate degree of complexity. Works on problems where analysis of situation or data requires a review of identifiable factors. Accuracy is required in performing all functions of this position as mistakes in work could cause substantial interpretive errors. **Hard Skills** + Packaging + Manufacturing + Assembly **Job Type** This is a Contract-to-Hire position with a duration of 12 Month(s). **Work Site** This is a fully on-site position in EUGENE, OR. **Work Environment** Operate processing and packaging equipment.
